I cant agree with you more. Here is a HUGE point. If I knowingly put poison, lead or say, mercury into someones drink. I might go to jail for attempted murder or at least a big felony crime. Now look at our FDA and government, they are overseeing the health and lively hood and very lives of millions of people. If they screw up? People pay permanently with their lives - so if they screw up... THEY SHOULD BE EXECUTED to deter corruption and uphold the HIGHEST REGARD for the public!

gabecollett and puretroubleman both bring up excellent points but the problem isn't strictly with the Chinese Gov't, but also with U.S. gov't failer to restrict imports & hold China accountable when poor products & work conditions are brought to light.
Gov't HAS to play a role of refereeing local & international manufactures. Companies only worry about PROFIT. Consumers & workers are at the bottom of their priority list.
