Godzilla Museum Teaser Trailer RARE 1998 Tristar Pictures Roland Emmerich Dean Devlin T-rex Tyrannosaurus skeleton
Description: This was the film's first teaser trailer that began appearing in theaters a full year before the film was released. The trailer contained a shot of Godzilla's foot coming through the roof of the Museum of Natural History and crushing a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton as a tour guide gives a lecture saying that it was one of the largest predators the world has ever seen. Unfortunately, this scene was cut from the final version of the movie. It cost the filmmakers $600,000 to shoot this sequence! (IMDb.com) This is one of my favorite trailers ever, even though this movie didn't meet my expectations. |

atarian2049 ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 10:32:38 The music in this trailer is quite unique. I wonder if it's available for purchase. Also, I wonder if anyone has the NYE 1998 commercial involving ol' Zilla knocking over the Times Square Ball 5 seconds before midnight... __________________________________________________
RobotGalvatron ::: Favorites 2007-12-16 12:00:58 Godzilla 1998 was the BEST godzilla movie ever. Those japanese movies with guys in cheap suits suck. __________________________________________________
Hitler233 ::: Favorites 2007-12-16 05:54:49 lol godzilla is bigger than a t-rex dinos are like not even one bit the size of godzilla theyre like cars that godzilla would step on __________________________________________________
Rocktheford ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 18:19:01 T-Rex got 0wned :P __________________________________________________
tickletelevision ::: Favorites 2007-12-05 07:46:57 Actually this was never meant to be in the film. It was a test shoot for all of the departments working on the film to work together and see what the problems would be working on the film. If you notice, GINO's feet are different then they are in the film. That was a first concept that changed. This was specifically made to be the trailer to be attached with Men In Black. __________________________________________________
hyperspacejumper ::: Favorites 2007-12-04 12:18:32 One of the best teaser-trailers ever made. "This creature was believed to be one of the largest predators who ever lived on our earth." And then suddenly you see how just one food of Godzilla is treading down the T-Rex skeleton. Brilliant idea, isn't it? It's a pity that the movie couldn't deliver what the trailer promised. __________________________________________________
cookson04 ::: Favorites 2007-12-01 23:47:00 That's the most destruction ZILLA did in the movie....and it wasnt even in the film. __________________________________________________
Kongzillera ::: Favorites 2007-11-23 14:15:09 This movie sucked. It's a bastardization of everything Godzilla! Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich were too busy giving each other blowjobs than writng a decent script! __________________________________________________
misstoffu ::: Favorites 2007-11-17 21:57:46 lol, I remember that trailer! here in Mexico there was some nice publicity that involved a comparation with the subway or something like that. too bad that the movie wasn't as good as we all expected. =( __________________________________________________
4rcit4 ::: Favorites 2007-11-11 00:24:06 what a crappy movie... it is a staple classic of so bad it is fun cinema. Jean Reno is always great though :) __________________________________________________
