| Vitesse1971 ::: Favorites In South Africa all Diamond T trucks were red (as is Bill's) with the green stripe on the bonnet (hood in USA) and doors. My grandfather imported ckd Diamond Ts in the late 40s and early 50s, and they were hand-assembled by my father and one other worker in Port Elizabeth. I wonder how many know that David Tilt built the first truck with the Tilt-cab - so named, not because they tilt forward, but after the family name Tilt.
